'Seven of a hundred suns' by Eliza Glyn

We have an exciting new art opening in our pop-up art gallery by local artist Eliza Glyn.

Eliza Glyn was born in Dorset and studied painting with NYV painter Andrew Spence, at Bennington College, U.S.A where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in 1998. She has travelled extensively and lived in India, USA, UK and Australia.

She painted most of her exhibition pieces 4-5 years ago. The images look at the area around Koputai and feature near abstract representations of the port here. The exhibit also features an essay by NZ artist Wesley John Fourie.
